Sustainability info

Zancobel is an Italian sportswear brand, which combines design, sustainability and inclusiveness. 

The brand redesigns a supply chain where waste has a value in order to create a sustainable and scalable solution that reduces marine plastic pollution.

The items are made to embrace the body and to last for a long time (slow fashion and reuse) and there is the possibility to create customized clothes.

Moreover the brand invest in to R&D in order to find new possibility to create additional recycled fabrics combination for sportswear.


Value Chain

Its value chain from production to logistics is completely focused in Italy. Its raw materials are sourced in Italy and China. 

Its production is made in Bergamo, Italy. 

About raw materials Zancobel uses recycled materials. Moreover, fabrics from leftover of textile supplier are used for the packaging bags.

The brand has visited all its suppliers in order to be aware of the working conditions of its workers. 

The development activity is made with materials already in stock in order not to waste new materials.

Regarding packaging, it is made through a process of upcycling so the bag that is used to contain the products is made using the surplus of fabrics from italian fabrics companies.


Company Sustainability

Zancobel has an ethical code which includes sustainable issues and paid social security contribution.

The brand allows smart working and some paid free time to its employees in order to better balance their private life and work. 


Community

The brand donates a percentage of the revenues to the NGOs that are in charge to rescue the fishing nets.

We are dedicated to the innovative recycling of this plastic waste into high-performance sportswear.
With this in mind we decided to create a partnership with the NGO Healthy Seas, Acquafil and Econyl who are at the forefront of this new way of recycling waste into high performance fabrics.
