Sustainability info

J-ANT. is a slow-fashion brand striving for a craftsmanship revival in the fashion industry of today through the use of traditional techniques and zero-waste methods. Each collection is the starting point of a new beginning, because the brand uses all of its leftover to create new garments.

Value Chain

J.Ant 's value chain is quite focused on Portuguese market.

Regarding the raw materials, the thread supplier is from Portugal as well as the supplier for cork leather. The linen fabric, polytex fabric and wool yarn (bought from dead-stock) come from the Netherlands.

Generally more than 70% of the materials per collection are up-cycled/recycled/dead-stock.

The production has been made in Praia da Luz - Lagos (Portugal) and packaging has been composed only by re-used materials.

Company Sustainability

The brand studio is located at home, where the brand partially uses solar panels.

Community

J.Ant has joined Fashion Revolution since 2018.

The brand opens some events in the studio and allows the consumer to have a look at what really goes on inside a fashion brand, where the clothes are made, what the process is. J.Ant allows the consumer to connect with the brand and understand what it does in terms of sustainability.

Customer Care

The brand does "take back service" for all products and it offers a discount card for the next purchases.

J.Ant provides tips on how to take care of the garment. Depending on the piece, the brand offers a maintenance agreement or kit so that the garment can be preserved for longer.
