Sustainability info

Foxylab New York is a creative laboratory that introduces art into fashion. The brand's main mission is to support local and international artists, and make their artworks wearable, by so erasing boundaries between art and fashion. It focuses on streetwear and puts sustainability at the center of its production.


Value Chain

90% of the brand's supply chain, from sourcing raw materials and manufacturing to logistics, is located in Turkey. The packaging and embellishment for the finished products are produced in China. Foxylab has also visited all manufacturers’ sights in order to reassure the satisfying condition of employees.

The brand uses certified raw materials: Oeko-Tex, Peta-Approved Vegan and Organic Textile Standard - GOTS.

In addition, Foxylab New York has a line «Eternal Beauty», dedicated to up-cycling: it transforms  dresses from the vintage stores of Paris and New York into new dresses, sewed of a vintage bottom and one of FXLB tops. Foxylab New York uses 3D software for prototyping in order to reduce the usage of additional materials.

Foxylab New York team counts several multi-skilled specialists, all of whom are united by the same goals and values. Its small but effective team strives to bring Foxylab New York on a global level. Foxylab New York offers shareable water dispenser and snacks in the office space. In addition, it provides gym and wellness classes, available to the team at no extra cost. 



Community

Foxylab New York is a partner of Free Arts New York foundation. In addition, it has a blog that touches on sustainability topic, and distributes the message on various media channels. The brand's advertising campaigns aim to deliver a message about responsible consuming, purchasing less items of a high quality, and, of course, up-cycling old garments.

3 What is your mission as sustainable brand?
Reaching an absolute sustainability level is a long process, and we want to be better at it every day. We purchased vintage dresses in Paris and created a line of “Eternal Beauty”, in which we attach the skirts of vintage dresses to tops produced by our brand. We know how much damage to the environment is caused by fashion production, and it reminds us to follow upcycling practices. No waste at all!
